JB: Thanks. I just gigged in Toronto last weekend, and have been playing local clubs near home recently, but I'm looking forward to taking some time off in March. Can't wait to follow the tourney more closely. Actually, I have a show in Groton, CT, so I'm psyched I'll be able to catch the finals in Danbury. My uncle works for UPS there and says he can hook me up with tickets to the semis. I'm really hoping to see UW-Osh Kosh make it that far -- I have the hots for one of their guards.

FB: Straight up, who's gonna win it all?
JB: I was really hoping McAllister was gonna make the dance, but since they didn't I'm going to have to go with the other local team, St. Thomas.

FB: Is there any team you think doesn't deserve to make it?
JB: Baldwin-Wallace don't really sit well with me. I think they're about as much fun to watch as 4/4 techno is to write. But they can shoot the rock from the outside, so I suppose they're allowed in. Hmm, I caught a Salem State game early in the season. The crowd at my show the night before was really hating on me, and the hotel blocked out all the good channels, so I'm still kind of bitter from that whole weekend. No, I don't like them.

FB: So who's your pick for NIT?
JB: Wait, isn't that a mens' tournament? Remember, I'm a musician, so I'm naturally more inclined to enjoy womens' hoops. Sorry, no comment.
