Here's a great place to find the pool ID you may have lost, or a new pool to join. If you're having trouble remembering the pool ID your boss sent you last week, try running a search on words that might pop up in the description or other pool attributes. If the pool is private, you'll need a password, and that can't be found here.

If you would like to meet people and join a public pool (not requiring a password), you can do so simply by clicking the pool's name. If the pool's name is not a link, the pool is full. Public pools have a green Yes in the Open column. Links for pools with a No will also let you join instantly, but a password is required.
